  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice

Instructions

  • Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. Wrap tofu in a clean towel and place a heavy object on top. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes.
  • While tofu is being pressed, prepare the sesame dressing. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame seeds. Stir well and set aside.
  • After tofu is pressed, cut into 1-inch cubes. Place tofu pieces in a bowl and sprinkle with cornstarch. Toss gently to ensure all pieces are coated.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu cubes and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides. This should take about 10-15 minutes. Once done, remove tofu from skillet and sprinkle with salt.
  • Assemble the bowls: Start with a base of jasmine rice, then add a portion of crispy tofu, shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and green onions. Drizzle the sesame dressing over top and garnish with additional sesame seeds.
  • Serve the Crispy Korean Tofu Bowls immediately and enjoy!
