  • 4 (6 - 175 g) Salmon fillets
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice of
  • 4 tablespoons Vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 pound Asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley leaves for garnish

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about a minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in the honey, lemon juice, and vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • In the meantime, trim the ends of the asparagus spears. In a separate skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the cooked asparagus to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Stir to coat the asparagus in the sauce.
  • Return the cooked salmon to the skillet, nestling it in among the asparagus. Spoon some of the garlic butter sauce over the top of the salmon.
  • Cook for a further 2-3 minutes, until the salmon is heated through.
